5 Tips to Maintain Your Mental Balance

  1. Engage carefully with content around violence against women. Know your limits.

  2. Practice balancing rituals: Light candles and burn incense. Relax with our throw pillows. Take an Epsom salt bath.

  3. Eliminate negative content: Avoid music, movies, or TV series that are violent or objectifying of women.

  4. Check your mind: Remember everything is mental. The brain is probably our most powerful organ. Ensure that your mind is in balance by practicing mindfulness, meditation, and prayer. Get rid of distractions. Quiet and eliminate anything that drains your mental and emotional energy.

  5. Hold positive conversations around love, family, and relationships. Many examples of successful marriages, loving husbands, and balanced families exist—let’s not lose sight of this amid the considerable violence against women.

If we all commit to balance as individuals, we can create balanced homes and, ultimately, thriving homes.
